Welcome to Wasit Alkhayr. By using the Wasit Alkhayr website or apps (together, the "Platform") or registering on them, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
- Platform / we: the Wasit Alkhayr platform operated by Wasit Alkhayr Advertising Company, State of Qatar, Commercial Registration No. 190459, Municipal License No. 250046, Advertising License No. 004082-113-2023, address: Building 97, Street 780 (Thani Bin Jassim), Zone 51, Al Gharrafa, Doha.
- User / you: anyone who browses the Platform, registers, posts an ad or books a service.
- Advertiser: a user, individual or company, who posts an ad on the Platform.
- Service company: a cleaning company or recruitment office registered on the Platform that provides a service to the customer.
2. Eligibility and account
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.
- You register with a valid mobile number verified by a one-time code, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Your details must be accurate and up to date; we may suspend any account with false information.
- You may delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Role of the Platform
Wasit Alkhayr is an intermediary platform for advertising and booking. The advertiser alone is responsible for the accuracy of the ad and for the goods or services offered, and the service company is responsible for delivering the service and for its staff. The Platform is not a party to any agreement made between users outside it.
4. Ad posting rules
- Ads must be genuine, in the right category, with an accurate price, description and photos.
- Ads for any goods or services that violate the laws of Qatar or public morals are prohibited, including counterfeit goods, unlicensed medicines, weapons or any banned items.
- Labour and recruitment ads are subject to Qatar's Labour Law and recruitment regulations. Trafficking of workers, illegal sponsorship transfers, or publishing workers' personal data without consent are prohibited.
- Duplicate ads, using photos or content owned by others without permission, and misleading links or numbers are prohibited.
- The Platform may review, re-categorise, reject or remove any ad that breaches these terms without prior notice.
5. Promotion packages and payments
- The Platform offers paid packages to promote ads (such as Featured and VIP) for the duration and price shown at purchase.
- Payments are processed by a licensed online payment gateway; the Platform does not store card details.
- Promotion fees are non-refundable once the package is activated, unless activation fails for a reason attributable to the Platform.
- If a promoted ad is removed for breaching these terms, the promotion fee is not refunded.
6. Booking cleaning staff
- Bookings are made with companies registered on the Platform at the prices and times shown at booking, including the fees displayed before payment.
- A booking is confirmed once payment is completed and the company accepts it. If the company does not accept within the set time, the booking is cancelled and fully refunded.
- The cancellation and refund policy shown to you before payment applies and is fixed on the booking when it is created.
- The customer must provide a safe and decent working environment and must not ask the worker to perform tasks outside the booked service or at a different address.
- You can rate the service after it ends and file a complaint through the Platform; we will review it with the company and take the necessary action.
7. User conduct
You must not:
- Impersonate others or use multiple accounts to circumvent the rules.
- Send spam, abusive or fraudulent messages to other users.
- Collect user or ad data by any automated means, or copy and republish Platform content.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt or bypass the Platform's systems.
8. Intellectual property
All rights in the Platform, its design, brand and software belong to Wasit Alkhayr. Advertisers grant the Platform a non-exclusive right to display and publish their ad content on the Platform and its marketing channels for the duration of the ad.
9. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is not liable for the accuracy of ads, for any dealings between users, or for any indirect damage resulting from using or being unable to access the Platform. In all cases, the Platform's liability does not exceed the amount you paid it for the service in question.
10. Suspension and termination
The Platform may suspend or close any account, or remove its ads, for breach of these terms or suspected fraud, notifying the user where possible.
11. Fraud warning
The Wasit Alkhayr team will never ask for your verification code, password or card details. Do not send advance payments to untrusted advertisers, and inspect items before paying. Any loss resulting from sharing such details is borne by the person who shared them.
12. Changes
The Platform may amend these terms at any time; changes take effect from their publication on this page. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
